Thank you for your incredible support of the Christmas food appeal. Our T.Y students packed it into the van that came from the St.Vincent de Paul Society.
Past pupil John Warren collected the food on Monday. John is the education officer with the St Vincent de Paul Society and he will be working with T.Y students in the new year. Some food hampers are still in the prayer room. They were prepared as special requests from the local Vincent de Paul Conference.
Sincere thanks too for your very generous cash donations. Your money is given as food vouchers to the local Vincent de Paul Society and into the Educational fund for the Central Trust.
Once again, we received a beautiful Christmas cake from Mrs Norma Coughlan. This is her 38th Year bringing her lovely home made and carefully decorated cake into the school. This was her gift to the food appeal when her son was in the school and she continues to give this gift to us today.
We are taking the cake and very generous cash donations into the Tuckey Street offices of St.Vincent de Paul on Thursday 23rd December.
Sincere thanks to everyone that donated. It will make a big difference to so many people this Christmas.
