A reminder that our open evening takes place next Tuesday the 17th of September from 6:45.

We are looking forward to welcoming Fifth & Sixth Class boys and their parents/guardians to our Open Evening which will take place on Tuesday 17th September.

The Open Evening will start at 6.45pm and you are invited to take a tour of the school to view our facilities, meet our staff and get a flavour of our school.

Our Principal Ms. Brenda Moriarty and our Deputy Principals Mr Colmán Ó Tuama & Mr Philip O’Sullivan along with our First Year Head, Claire Garry and our staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have. 

The Principal’s address will take place in the hall at 7.45pm.

O'Neills Club Shop

You can now purchase your Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh extra curricular activity gear directly to your home from O'Neills. Follow the instructions on the poster to view and purchase training or supporters' gear. You can even purchase your own C.S.N. GAA jersey anywhere in the world.

Please note for current students, all gear is optional, and this gear does not replace the school uniform and is not to be worn in place of the school uniform at any time. 🔴⚫️

A group of our 5th Year students have volunteered to travel to Lourdes to help with the Cork & Ross diocesan pilgrimage which takes place from Friday 20th to Wednesday 25th September, led by the Bishop of Cork & Ross, Most Rev. Fintan Gavin D.D.

On Saturday, 7th September we will be holding a Coffee Morning in the school to raise funds to help cover our students costs.

All are welcome to join us on Saturday morning from 10.30am – 12.30pm in Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh.

On Friday 23rd August we welcomed our First Years 2024 to Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh.

Our Senior Prefects and Staff were on hand to greet our new students and to make introductions to their new classmates.

We look forward to getting to know each of our First Years and we wish them well as they settle in, make
new friendships and get involved in the extracurricular life of the school.

Wishing our Leaving Cert Class of 2024 the very Best of Luck tomorrow as they receive their exam results. We are all proud of your achievements and wish you every success for tomorrow and for the future. Leaving Cert exam results will be available from 10a.m.

Everyone at Coláiste An Spioraid Naoimh wishes the Cork Senior Hurling Team the very best of luck in Sundays All Ireland Senior Hurling Final versus Clare. A special mention to our 4 past pupils Patrick Collins, Damien Cahalane, Conor Cahalane and their S&C coach Ian Jones. C.S.N will be cheering you all on. Bring it home! 🔴⚪️

Best in the country for D.C.G!

Well done to Fuad Haque, who achieved the joint highest overall mark in D.C.G in the country during his 2023 L.C examination. Congratulations to Fuad and a word of thanks to his teacher, Mr Canty, for all his support.

Well done to our TY student, Owen Barron!
Owen was selected to represent Ireland at the International Maths Olympiad (IMO) this Summer in Bath, England.
This will be his second time participating on the Irish IMO team. In 2023 he competed in Japan.
He did very well in the national team selection tests over the past couple of months, placing third overall.
A special word of thanks to his maths teacher, Mr McElligott, for all of the support given to Owen to help him achieve this.
