First year Climb 2025
All of our first year classes went to Killarney last Friday on their first year climb. Under the guidance of Mr Cramer all students successfully made it to the top of Torc where they enjoyed their lunch with spectacular views of Killarney lakes.
After making their way back down they still had the energy to take in Killarney town for dinner and a spot of shopping in the outlet stores. As always it was a very successful day and a big thank you to Mr Cramer and all the class teachers and SNA's who travelled and assisted.

5th Year Ecology Excursion to Killarney
Last Thursday the 5th year biology classes travelled to Killarney National Park to complete their habitat study for the course. They identified the local flora and fauna, collected invertebrates with pooters and sweep nets, and most importantly enjoyed the beautiful weather with a picnic by the lake. An enjoyable day in nature was had by all.

Teachers Cup 2025
Congratulations to the teachers on winning the teachers cup final, once again last Friday. They beat Irelands fittest family, led by Jordan McCarthy, 5- 2 in a one-sided event. It was played in a sporting manner and the crowd were really behind the teachers throughout.

Thank you to all the 6th year boys who participated and came up short once again.Well done again to the extremely talented set of teachers who dominated the competition from start to finish. Roll on next year!!

The Irish Guide Dogs
The Irish Guide Dogs:Some of our students presented funds raised in our school to The Irish Guide Dogs today and they also had a very informative tour of the premises. A big thank you to the staff at the Guide Dogs for a wonderful outing.

U14 Footballers Reach The County Final
Well done to our u14 team who beat Coachford College 6-8 to 5-8 today in the county semi-final. They face Hamilton High in the final on Monday at 12.00 in Carrigaline GAA.

Under 17 Soccer Shield Victory
Congratulations to our U17 Soccer Team!They won the Foras Cork Schools Shield Final on Wednesday 7th May against Davis College. Captained by Donagh McGurk, CSN faced tough competition but demonstrated great team work and took their chances.Final Score:CSN: 3 Davis College: 1 The CSN goals were scored by Adam Sienicki (2) and Daniel Zeph (1)

Tie Towel on the podium again
Congratulations to our TY Mini Company, Tie Towel! U14 cork Basketball Stars
Three of CSN’s second year students, Sean Walsh, Joshua O’Shea, and Bobby Power were selected to compete for Cork U14 boys basketball team in the
Southern Region Area Board Competition over the Easter break. They placed second in the competition.
