Some of our TY students took part in a wheelchair basketball tournament – “Basketball4All” in the Mardyke UCC on Tuesday 28th March.

The aim of the event was to allow all students the opportunity to experience adapted physical activity in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment through wheelchair basketball.

The event was organised by students from the UCC Sports Studies and Physical Education and their lecturer/CSN past pupil Diarmuid Lester.

There were 29 other schools from Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford and Killkenny competing in the tournament which was a great success.
