We continue to make great strides towards achieving our next Green Flag.

Throughout our school community and through a number of positive actions, we are promoting the theme of water conservation and access to clean water.

Ben, Kieran and Sam from the Green Schools committee have been visiting all of our Junior classes. They shared with these classes the importance of water in their lives, the preciousness of this natural resource and the increased awareness around the conservation of water. Our TY students participated in a river clean up in February.

Mr O’Connor and his first year PE class walked 6km through the Leefields to reach the River Lee which highlighted the significant distances many people in countries across the world must travel to access water.

Thank you to Mr O’ Connor, Mr Brady and Mr Donovan for your support last week through your PE classes.
