Six of our Leaving Cert students took part in this years ISTA Senior Science Quiz on Thursday 14th November.

Team 1: Jack Brady, Chris Thomas, and Kieran Sisk Ravindran. 

Team 2: Neil McLauchlan, Stephen Murray, and Ilarion Zubialevich.

Both teams were exceptional on the night with team one placing in the top six and moving on to compete in the final in Dublin on the 30th of November.

The Irish Science Teachers’ Association Quiz is an annual event as part of Science Week for Leaving Cert students.

Teams of three compete in a traditional table quiz format; there are 8 rounds of 6 questions, drawn from the Leaving Certificate Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses but also including general science knowledge / recent science news.

Congratulations to our six students for representing CSN so well and we wish Jack, Chris & Kieran the very best of luck on the 30th November in the Final.
