Well done to the five CSN mini companies that took part in the Cork City Student Enterprise Programme Final in UCC Devere Hall on Tuesday 11th March.

Congratulations to Tie Towel who were the winners of the “Best Overall Senior Award” and the award for “Best Sales”.

Congratulations also to Garden Cycle who won the prize for “Best Commercial Potential”.

The Tie Towel company comprising of Ahroon Santhosh, Michael Sweeney Heffernan, Tom Mc Keown, Abraham Kurian and Mamoun Mirghani will now go forward to represent Cork City at the All Ireland final in May 2025.

In addition, they have won a prize sponsored by OtterBox of an all-expenses paid trip to Colorado State University College of Business in the summer of 2025. This is the third year in a row that CSN have been the overall winners!

Our 5 Mini-Companies that took part in the Final are:

“Tie Towel” have designed a towel that won’t slip while you are getting changed in the gym

“Garden Cycle” have produced a calendar/guide for gardeners to remind them when to “sow and grow”

“Odour Out”  produced air fresheners for gear bags

“Deluxe Decorations” designed and made beautiful key rings and Christmas decorations from resin

“Sópa” have produced beautiful handmade soaps using natural ingredients.
