Congratulations to our U17 Soccer Team!!

They are the 2023 Munster Schools Soccer Champions!

They defeated Thurles C.B.S in Mitchelstown on Wednesday 8th March on a scoreline of 2-1.

CSN dominated the game in possession and found it very difficult to break through a well organised Thurles side.

The breakthrough came midway through the second half when Dylan Mc Carthy scored the opening goal.

Thurles responded quickly from a free kick, which wasn’t cleared, and it found the back of the net.

C.S.N regained control again, and with 10 minutes remaining, Chris Harrington found the net with a perfect strike direct from a free kick on the edge of the Thurles box.

Thurles had one final late chance to force extra time, but some brave goalkeeping from Senan Dorgan finally secured the Tom Ticher trophy for C.S.N once again.
