Wellbeing at Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh

Student wellbeing is present when students realise their abilities, take care of their physical wellbeing, can cope with the normal stresses of life, and have a sense of purpose and belonging to a wider community. (NCCA Wellbeing Guidelines 2017, pg. 17)

Your son’s wellbeing is of central importance to his educational success and overall happiness. As a result, wellbeing is a core part of your son’s experience at Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh. All subjects seek to foster the Wellbeing of students to develop young people who are connected, aware, resilient, responsible, respected and active.

In particular, the following subjects primarily focus on the wellbeing indicators.

A vast range of extra-curricular activities enhance the wellbeing of all our students. Throughout the school year, we have a number of wellbeing celebrations and initiatives which serve to enhance relationships and create a strong culture of wellbeing in Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh.
