Congratulations to our TY Mini Company, Tie Towel! They were awarded 3rd Place in the Senior Category of the National Finals of the Student Enterprise Programme
The National Finals were held in the Mullingar Park hotel on Thursday 8th May with 85 businesses from across the country shortlisted in three main categories.
“Tie Towel” designed a towel that won’t slip while you are getting changed in the gym or after a swim – “The Towel That Stays Put”!

The Local Enterprise Office initiative, supported by Enterprise Ireland and local authorities, began last September and Tie Towel as winners of the “Best Overall Senior Award” at the Cork City Finals in March, represented the Cork City Local Enterprise Office at the National Finals.
The boys have been working hard to develop and promote their wonderful product which is available to buy on their website and they have built a great following on Instagram.
